  Resilient Rural Girls
Picture
WorKiT is a single - day workshop designed by the RRG team to engage girls in gender informed aspirational thinking around their pathways or “selfways” (Pizzolato et al, 2012). Guided by key questions about values, skills, and experiences, the activities encourage girls to consider their “possible selves” (Shepard, 2007) alongside their options within a future-oriented, reflective process. WorKiT takes into account both the promotive and protective factors for resilience (Ungar, M., & Liebenberg, L. 2013) as well as community contexts.
